Miss Me

Well, I've Certainly been away for awhile. Due to circumstances beyond my control.

But now, maybe, just maybe things will turn around if only for a short bit!

As Valentine's Day is tomorrow .. and had nothing to do with poetry. (but Art).. I'm sharing a picture that does speak to all of us that carries love in our hearts.

Bold, maybe Beastly, a bit Bashful, perhaps Blush, and Beautiful to herself.



she can be:

Interesting, sometimes Impossible, show Indifference, be Inspiring, and have Intelligence.



she can be:

Tender in her ways, a Teacher, share Thrills, be a Treasure to someone, and have Talent.



she can be:

a Companion, Cherish moments, show Compassion, Cry, and be ever so Caring.



she can be:

Hopeful in all things, a Healer, someone to Hold, have a Heart of gold, but also a Human being.



All these; but most of all she IS:

Beautiful. Intelligent. Tender. Caring. & a Human being.



She with all these is a “B.I.T.C.H."

The NEED: To FIND

To stand alone or with a love -
­Nothing greater than to be oneself.
To have the courage to be alone;
If no one can give what you need.


NEED of love, of sharing, caring,
And not receiving
What one deserves.


One must FIND oneself: to be free.
To enjoy, to love, to laugh ­-
To have what one may not find in one
Who shares the same 'cage'.
Ones' destiny in life;
Is to live:
Not just exist.


I owe myself the joy to live life:
To the fullest.
If it is not to be with you;
Then I must find my life -­
Outside you.
To be content, is to be happy with
Oneself and now, I do not feel this
To the fullest.
If I must live without you;
Then. . .
...I must, and will - find a new life -
­A new beginning.


To satisfy me...
For I am number one now.
For me to be important - to me.



Well, it's new;
It's a beginning.
For me to be happy: and happy,
I will be, no matter how long it takes.


Because me...
I have a lifetime:
To love and live life!

Is gentle and kind.
She's warm and helpful
and my best friend.

It took me awhile to
realize, you see,
Just how much I mean to her,
and her to me.
No one can replace her,
or fill the shoes she wears.

She calls me her ­
"Little Girl",
but that's ok;
There's no better way to show
how she cares.
We've been shopping, riding or
having a 'cocktail' coffee break,
So many miles now separate;
we must dream of yesterdays.
She worries about me ­
as most mothers do;
So far away it's hard to
express or convey
How much I Love her:
Today and Always.
